of your member's email address'. We register your domain name –
using a name of <your organization> + fundraisingauction.org
or eventonline.org. We find a hosting service for your site and pay
for one month of hosting and set-up (or longer depending on contract
arrangements.)
If you haven’t joined the technology age to raise funds this
way, we can help. We do it without charge to your organization,
and you will own the site, once it's built.
The concept we’re proposing is…An online auction that
will last seven days. Your members will log on to the site with
your encouragement and select products and services that are of
interest to them. They’ll place their bid electronically in
the privacy of their own home on their computer. Upon bid submission
an email is sent to us as well as your organization's chairperson.
We take care of all the details in running auction, arranging for
delivery, and collecting monies in on your behalf.
Your members have the availability of charging their bid with an
AMX, Visa, Master Card or Discover. They also have the option to
write a check to your organization. All checks will have a check
guarantee which we will provide.
